A Note of Gratitude and Looking Ahead

Over the past 40 years, I have had the privilege of working with thousands of clients, helping them pursue their financial goals with a focus on retirement. As I reflect on that time, what stands out most is not the work itself, but the relationships that have come from it.

Many of you have become like family.

We have shared some of life’s happiest moments and some of its most difficult ones. We have worked through successes and setbacks, always with an eye toward what matters most—your goals, your families, and your future. Being part of that has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I have also been fortunate to work alongside some of the most intelligent, caring professionals in the financial services industry. Along the way, many of the top executives at Aetna, ING, Voya Financial, and Cetera Financial Group became more than professional contacts. They became friends, mentors, and people who genuinely cared—not just about my success but about the success of our team and, most importantly, the well-being of you, our clients.

Because of that foundation—and because of the strength of the team we have built—I feel very good about taking a step back from the day-to-day responsibilities of the practice.

This transition is only possible because of Anthony.

Many of you already know him well. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to watch Anthony grow from an intern into President of Stein Financial Group. More importantly, I have watched how he cares for people, how he approaches decisions, and how committed he is to doing what is right for each client. I have complete confidence in his leadership and in the direction he will continue to take the firm.

Just as important, Anthony is supported by an exceptional team. Margie, Erin, and Amy have been the foundation of Stein Financial Group for many years. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for our clients are a big part of what makes this organization special.

What does this mean for you?

In many ways, not much changes.

You’ll continue working with the same team that knows you, understands your goals, and has been there with you over the years. The way we approach planning, the way we communicate, and the level of care you’ve come to expect will all remain the same.

If anything, you’ll see that continue to grow under Anthony’s leadership.

I’ll still be around as well—just not involved in the day-to-day in the same way. I plan to stay connected, available when needed, and engaged with the people and relationships that have meant so much to me over the years.

I am incredibly proud of what we have built together—and even more confident in what lies ahead.

Thank you for your trust, your friendship, and the opportunity to be part of your lives.

With appreciation,

Jeff
