Hello! If we haven't met before, my name is Jeffery Stein. You can read a little more about me here: https://steinfinancialgroup.com/our-team.
I am writing this post from home. I’m not doing it from home because it’s after business hours. I am writing this from home because it’s the right thing to do. I believe it is our responsibility to not only take care of ourselves, but also to take care of our neighbors, coworkers, and families.
Today, one of the best ways to take care of ourselves and others is to stay home, so that’s what my team and I are doing. Each of our team members are fully connected to the same tools and resources we use at the office. Today we communicate with each other through video, phone and e-mail. Our phones are all forwarded to our homes. The only difference you will experience service wise is that our face-to-face meetings will be replaced by your choice of video conference or phone call.
At this time, we are also making ourselves fully available to your family and friends as we all traverse the COVID-19 journey. Just as we are fully committed to you and your financial success, we have dedicated ourselves to helping our neighbors by allowing them to use our group’s unique skill set. Pass along our contact information and we will be happy to provide guidance to allow those individuals an opportunity to better navigate our new normal. It is a pleasure working to make a small positive difference for all who seek our help.
In these times, positivity sometimes just means taking the heavy burden of stress off of your shoulders, even if only for a little while. I would like to share with you some thoughts on how we would like to reduce your stress and concern regarding your money. The following list is from Dan Sullivan from the Strategic Coach.
Forget about yourself; focus on others
Forget about the future; focus on today
Forget about your commodity; focus on your relationships
Forget about who you were; focus on who you can be
Forget about the sale; focus on creating value
Forget about events; focus on your responses
Forget about your losses; focus on your opportunities
Forget about what’s missing; focus on what’s available
Forget about your difficulties; focus on your progress
Forget about your complaints; focus on your gratitude
Being the senior member of our group, I have lived through a number of difficult times in history. What I have learned, and what I think is valuable to pass on to you, is that we are in control of how we will deal with a situation. Whether we are dealing with a canceled flight, being stuck in traffic, or an issue like COVID-19, I know my thoughts will control how I deal with the situation. Hopefully that reminder will be as valuable to you as it has been for me.
I wish you peace of mind and good health.
